A Full Worm Moon In March

Exploring the celestial cycles of this month

Today the Earth is located directly between the Moon and Sun, making the lunar disc perfectly illuminated to those of us below. In March – according to Native American tradition and documented by the Farmer's Almanac – we have a 'Full Worm Moon', as this is when the ground begins to thaw and earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of robins and the beginning of spring.
