Banning Plastic Buds for a Positive Change

Cotton buds make up almost half of all litter found on UK beaches, and Scotland has reacted by banning plastic-handled cotton buds in order to break the cycle of marine pollution. This is another move forward in the positive pattern to create change:

"Following the plastic bag charge and the announcement of a deposit and return scheme for bottles and cans, this is another good step on the way to a society which uses resources more sensibly."
