Often something simple is the most effective. Artist Rainer Jacob used ice in the shape of banded radiators placed around cities and living spaces in Europe to draw attention to global warming.
The artworks aren't permanent, gradually disappearing over hours and days, and serve as a reminder of the impact our energy consumption is having on Arctic ice.
