Pattern Hack:
A Patternitalk + Printing Workshop for Google + Converse

We encouraged groups of participants to customise their Chuck soles using bold rearrangements of simple geometric shapes found everywhere beneath our feet, from gridded paving stones to circular drain covers and striped zebra crossings.

When worn alone, PATTERNITY Chucks printed a bespoke standalone footprint, but combined with other hacked Chucks they created infinite pattern formations – leaving unique trails to provoke mutual exploration and discovery. The event partnership included a talk on the importance of creative collaboration and play in today’s digital culture.
