Winning Formations: A Window Installation + Animation for COS
An installation to celebrate everyday excellence
We created a series of
installations for Swedish retailer COS to champion abstraction in everyday
life. We put the most familiar objects into winning formations that transformed
the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Crisp paper cups, playfully turned upside down, balanced stacks of plastic buckets arranged in perfect symmetry. Artfully folded T-shirts and jumpers formed precise colour compositions of blue, white and black. Bold orange scarves created a geometric centre within a single, sinuous, eternal hoop.
This eye-catching installation invited customers in-store to reconsider definitions of the mundane through magnificent outline and repetition. The power of symmetry provoked attention and focus, key aspects of success and winning.
